Recognized by the trade and commerce industry, N-courses are integral to young South Africans wishing to transition successfully from school to the workplace. Being vocation-oriented courses, they play a big role in developing skills and fostering economic growth. In line with EBDA’s objectives to empower people through education and ready them for a successful career, we offer N-courses that are relevant to different areas of study.
What should you know about N-courses?
To write your trade test, you will need to either pass N-courses targeted at your specific field or be exempt from the same. For each trade, you will need to take up a minimum of four N-course subjects; the exception is millwrights, which will require six subjects. The all-important subjects – Mathematics and Science – are part of the N-course module.
